Classroom Felting Kits
ArtFelt Studio classroom felting kits are an excellent resource for teachers looking to enhance their in-class lessons. All of our projects for schools teach the wet felting process - which is using the natural properties of wool plus soap, water, bubblewrap and agitation to get the wool to bind together. It's good, clean art fun and we have over a dozen different curriculum-based projects for teachers to choose from.
Our kits include everything you need to have a successful wet felting lesson with your kids. From wool to water bowls to dish soap, clips for hanging the art to a water jug - we've got you covered. We individually sort the wool so each student has the wool needed to complete their unique art project. You'll also receive a link to exclusive step-by-step YouTube video instructions. These are designed with teachers in mind and have built-in pauses so you can play the instructions and then pause as the kids do the step. We include one free teacher kit with each class kit. We suggest you watch the video and make your kit before teaching your students. This way you'll have knowledge of the process and a sample to show the kids.
Once you have your classroom kit, you choose when you'd like to teach the felting. A bonus - the project doesn't have to be completed in a single day. You can put it aside (several times, if needed) and go back to it. It should be done within 3-4 days of starting.
